Job Overview

The employer is seeking an experienced Boilermaker to join our team at our Virginia sites in Adelaide’s northern suburbs. We specialize in packing potatoes and onions for major supermarket chains across Australia. As a Boilermaker, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and components, ensuring that our production machinery and facilities are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures and components, including machinery, frames, and support structures.
  • Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly.
  • Perform welding, cutting, and shaping of metal materials to meet job specifications.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance and production teams to address any structural or mechanical issues.
  • Follow all safety protocols and ensure that work is performed in compliance with Mitolo Group standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any issues to the Maintenance Supervisor.

About You

  • Proven experience as a Boilermaker, preferably in the FMCG or food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong skills in welding, metal fabrication, and the use of relevant tools and machinery.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Relevant trade qualifications in boiler making or metal fabrication.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
