Job Overview
The Mitolo Group is seeking skilled Forklift Operators to join our team at our Virginia sites in Adelaide’s northern suburbs. We specialize in packing potatoes and onions for major supermarket chains across Australia. As a Forklift Operator, you will report to the Team Leader and be responsible for ensuring that all forklift operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with Chain of Responsibility (COR) regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain safety and quality standards in accordance with Mitolo Group policies.
- Safely transport products to and from designated areas.
- Move goods stacked on pallets across the site.
- Stack empty pallets and ensure all loads are secure.
- Perform pre-operational checks on forklifts as required.
- Complete all assigned tasks within the required time frame.
- Assist with additional duties as needed.
- Follow instructions from the Team Leader and work effectively as part of a team.
About You
- Experience in a similar role within the FMCG or food manufacturing industry.
- Valid forklift licence and proven competence as a forklift operator.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Positive attitude, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
